Prudence Kaluba and Nancy Musonda are best friends. They have been serving as branch missionaries together. They submitted their mission papers together. They received their mission calls within days of each other. First, Prudence (in the green), asked her brother to open and read her call for her. How thrilled they were when he read that she was called to the Kenya, Nairobi Mission, the same mission that he had served in! That sweet brother and sister were overwhelmed with happiness.When Nancy's call came,her family invited us to be with them as they opened it. Prudence was there too. First we sang all the verses to "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go." Next, her father offered one of the most beautiful prayers of love and gratitude and pure testimony that we've ever heard. When Nancy read her call, it was as if a full conduit of joy opened up from heaven on that humble setting--she was also called to the Kenya, Nairobi Mission!! We were all in tears! What wonderous love and joy flowed into that remarkable setting. Two sweet girlfriends had just sung the words:
"Trusting my all to thy tender care,
and knowing thou lovest me,
I'll do thy will with a heart sincere,
I'll be what you want me to be."
Indeed they had trusted their all to the Lord's tender care, and he proved that he does love them dearly.
