THE RAND CLAN

Vic Falls and Botswana AGAIN!! Lucky us!

Pres. Dube and Elder Patterson try to catch up on a few items of business in the midst of all of the fun of couple's conference.Rand and I have now been to Victoria Falls three times. The falls flow over the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. We've seen it from both sides now. . equally spectacular! We've also been to the Chobe Reserve in Botswana three times in connection with our Vic Falls visits--once with the Wrights last June, once with our girls in March, and again in April for our couple's conference.  I've read all of the #1 Lady Detective series which is based in Botswana, so it has been intriguing to visit there.  Botswana is a quiet, clean country which has never had the strife and wars so common to most countries in Africa. The wild animals still roam more freely than in more developed countries. We saw many elephants crossing the roads, warthogs in town, even a leopard was spotted with its kill right by a city market!
