The couples of the Zimbabwe Harare Mission. Of note are the Bowens on the front right whom we served with in the Durban mission! (Yes, we had a little pull getting them here!) They arrived
just in time for the couple's conference. They will be the office couple in the Zimbabwe Mission Office. We don't envy them, but they will be fabulous. I communicate via email with Sis. Bowen often as we coordinate mission details. The African couple standing next to us are one of the two (possibly three) black couples who've ever served as senior couples--Elder and Sister Ngwaru are as delightful as they can be! Pres. & Sis Dube are center front. Back row left to right: The Bullocks--the humanitarian couple, and he is the other counselor in the mission presidency; the Esplins--CES /PEF couple serving in northern Zambia (Copperbelt)--they stay with us once a month to do CES in Lusaka and we love their company; the Mayfields--CES in Zimbabwe; the Stevens, the lone Malawi couple--back for their second time. Three of these eight couples are serving their second missions.
