The Family & the Falls

Spring break for the girls fell right in the midst of the rainy season in Zambia.  We knew the falls would be running so full that the visibility would be limited due to the massive overspray. Up on the Zambezi River, the overspray of the full, plummeting falls in the distance was spectacular. Right where the falls drop off, the waters were raging and there are no barriers for safety as there would most certainly be in the US.  Luckily, the grandchildren survived! Along the path, the overspray and upspray was so fierce that it felt like you were in a power car wash. The yellow capes were basically worthless!
